The Mennonite Memorial Choir of southern Ontario assembles annually in the spring to rehearse and present a traditional Mennonite a cappella concert of chorales and hymns. Under the rehearsal direction of Wendell Glick and Lloyd Kauffman, eighty singers study to articulate the music in our rich heritage of faith. Each year, one hymn is commissioned for composition and premiered at the concert. The piece is given to the audience to invite their participation in the new music. The Cliff Brenneman Trust Fund was established in March of 2005 to help preserve the Mennonite a cappella tradition for worship by supporting music students and funding programs for the music literacy of the church throughout Canada and the United States.
